I was showing tates a deviation by bluefooted, who's one of my favorite devART artists, and noticed she provided a link to a walkthrough ^^ So I checked it out, and contrary to her "this probably won't be very helpful" comment it's actually extremely interesting:


I've never tried her thing with channels to get rid of white (usually I just multiply) and she also looks like a huge fan of the healing brush, which I've also never used before... I'd definitely be curious to try out some of these techniques :D

I don't have a tablet and I don't think you need one to try some of her techniques :P

Agreed. There's some things in there that don't require painting/a mouse. Pretty nifty things, >3.

Mouse xD Wasn't quite as adventurous with touchpad as candy was... and I think I get better control with mouse than touchpad. And now that I'm off laptop no more touchpad option :]

I feel sorry for your wrists. My tendons flare up with just the tablet, I'd hate to think what the mouse does.

I have done something to my knuckles on my right hand by overusing the touchpad. I don't recommend it...I'm going to have to go to the doc for it actually. If I even use it for an hour, it flares up for days :(

Oh wow, I never thought about the knuckles. Anti-inflammatories are your friend. All my hobbies happen to be hobbies that lead to carpal tunnel, so I've already started with Piroxicam. =__=
