Anyone?  I need to start a bbs of some sort for a group project for uni.  Im hoping I can do this easily and with little or no cost.....   but I'm starting to doubt that now.....

Given it doesnt have to be at all elaborate, just space where a dozen or so people can gather data/info.

I use PunBB for small projects, like the last two Wars. I've also seen people use Vanilla for smaller projects. PunBB was pretty fast and easy to set up. I don't know about Vanilla but I would assume so.

The two things you'll want are space and a database. I'm sure there's enough space and such on PE for you to use, otherwise, I've used Freehostia for many a project and never been dissatissfied.
