If I were to hold a (possibly three-part) summer contest with an actual prize, what kind of prize do you think people would be interested in? What would you be interested in? I was thinking something like this would be cool, but I don't know yet.

Also, would you be interested in participating in said contest?

Having a case of too many art/walling projects/contests, too much to do IRL, too little time, but a prize like that would definitely motivate me to put aside other projects for a bit and give it a shot.

May not be as attractive to people who already own a tablet, so you might want to offer a choice of alternative prizes.

Same here. I'd be interested, but would it be like an initial contest, semi-final, and final round with different submissions for each round?

I'm not sure on the specifics yet, I just like Summertime activities. If it did have three tiers, each would have a prize, leading up to the Grand Prize. Probably something simple like a button pack out of your entry or something for the first, and possibly second place for the next two tiers (which is as far as I've gotten). It may be an elimination kind of thing but I haven't decided just yet on that end.
